My dog has seemed to lost his hair on his front and back legs, there is not any scabs or dry spots, he doesnt lick or bite at them. he doesnt seem to be in any pain, no sign of fleas, worms or anything else. He is a 1yr old great pyrenese,a big guy, but a gentle baby: )
Does anyone have an idea as to what might cause a dog to lose his hair on his front and back legs?

Take him to a Vet for a skin scrape and also a general exam to make sure something isn' t wrong with his endocrine system causing this. It may be a deficiency in his diet and there may be supplements and/or change of diet that can help, but if it is something to do with thyroid or other cause, medications may be needed.

Might be allergies to something. Food, or something in the house.

Let a vet have a look and ask him to check for conditions such as allergies, demodex mange and thyroid function...all of these are fairly common problems and can be easily treated.
