My White tile floor and dog hair?

I have a white tile floor in my dining room and it is constantly covered in my Pitbulls hair I try to sweep as much as possible but I just can't get it all. So when I go to mop it gets stuck in the mop and then dragged all over the floor again it seems like a never ending battle! Any one have any suggestions?

Vacuum the floor before you mop it.

Use an electric broom (Or Vaccum) on the floor before mopping and keep the dog well brushed so that she looses less hair.

Go to UPCO animal supply. They have these pills that slow down shedding.I have used them they work.

I also have a pit-bull,try vacuuming first and then wash floor's with vinegar and water. To get pit-bull hair out of thing's it's an ever ending story,as pit-bull hair is so coarse and prickly it does stick to everything.I try to vacuum everyday and then spray anti-static guard on my floor's and furniture. This seems to help. It's very important you brush your dog's coat everyday, also try using flax seed in her food,it maker's the hair shine and stops shedding allot. There is a product I found in Montreal, which had flex seed oil, hemp oil's and it make's my dog's coat so shiny and stopped the shedding so much I cannot find it here where I live and I threw the bottle out, but, when I go to Montreal again,I will look for the name of it.I recall t was made in the U.S.A.maybe,check at your pet-store.It work's wonder's.Apparently the flex seed oil is used on horses to prevent shedding and make's there hair very shiny,If you buy flax seed ,just grind it fine in a coffee grinder and it work's just as well. You put in the dog's food once a day just a teaspoon.Try that.I hope this help's.Thank's claire w.

It is a never ending battle! The easiest solution that I found was to give up trying to sweep with a regular broom. Instead, I tried one of those Swiffer brooms, and it worked pretty good. I know there are other brands, and I'm sure they all do a similar job. The nice thing about those is that the sheet trapped the hair better then the ol' broom and dustpan method, so when I mopped, there wasn't nearly as much fur to get stuck in the mop. There still was some, but it was a lot easier. I hope you find a solution that works well for you! Let us know if you find anything that helps.
