Does anyone know anyone who can make things out of dog fur in the uk please.The dog is labrador/retreiver black

It sounds silly, but we save the hair from our Great Pyrenees when we brush him. He has beautiful soft, white, long hair and he sheds A LOT...and right now in the spring, he is blowing his coat, so we have extra shedding going on.



I found a place online that will spin the clean hair into yarn...my 12 year old daughter likes to knit, so she is determined to make a scarf.



But what, exactly, do you mean by "making things out of dog fur?" I hope that you are only talking about dog hair, and not skins. I apologize if I am jumping to conclusions, but it's hard to tell what you might mean.

the only thing I can tell you is find a labortory and see if they could use it for some kind of dermitology testing. It's already shed right, then danduar is already evident. Try that.

Although I've never done it before, I remember a while back, there were articles about people making sweaters or blankets from dog hair that was shed. Here's an article about how to spin dog hair...
